History of The Cannons Trophy

Inaugurated in 2007 - The first Cannons Trophy event was held in Druid's Glen Co. Wicklow, home to the Irish Open on four occasions. A talented field took part in the first ever Cannons event and after the official opening ceremony, The first ball of the trophy was smacked off the tee.

The inauguaral winner  was Nick Fingleton.

 The 2008 Cannons Trophy took place in Mount Juliet - Winner Dave O' Mahony.

 The 2009 Cannons Trophy was held in Mt Wolseley - Winner Dave O' Mahony.

 The 2010 Cannons Trophy was held in Farnham Estate - Winner Nick Fingleton.

 The 2011 Cannons Trophy was held in Waterford Castle - Winner Kenny Vaughan

 The 2012 Cannons Trophy was held in Lough Erne - Winner Paul Johnston

The Cannons Trophy is a the golf trophy,donated by the Cannons Committee, which is awarded each year to the highest stableford score in a singles competition.
